VOD Probecable-LR "Blue" (1000 m)

VOD PROBECABLE-LR “BLUE”  is a custom, calibrated resistance cable for use in explosives in blastholes to monitor the continuous explosives VOD and hole/deck delay times. It is recommended for operators recording across multiple or many multiple holes. 

VOD PROBECABLE-LR “BLUE” has a lower linear resistance (Ω/m or Ω/ft) compared to VOD PROBECABLE "GREEN", making it possible to run longer length of cable if further distance of monitoring is required.

Supplied in “Reel in a Box” boxes. Packaged 1,000 m (3,280 ft.) per box.

USAGE

Probecable Blue measures the VOD of explosives continuously, hence they need to be inserted or tied to the explosives to make sure every part of the Probecable is in direct contact with the explosives.
