Blasting Ohm Meter KOBLA XR-III

OPERATING MANUAL

1. Ensure your blasting circuit is fully bound and ready for testing.
2. Carefully place both ends of the blasting circuit line onto the designated terminals of the blasting ohm meter.
3. Push the right terminal button on the device.
4. Read the resistance value. The circuit resistance value will appear as a numerical display on the LCD screen.
5. Verify circuit integrity by comparing the measured resistance value displayed on the LCD with your pre-calculated or expected resistance value for the blasting circuit.
   Note: If the measured resistance value on the LCD is different from your pre-calculated value, it indicates a potential issue or problem with the binding of the circuit line.
6. If a discrepancy is found, thoroughly check the binding of the circuit line to identify and correct any faults. After rectification, repeat steps 2 through 5 to re-measure and confirm the correct resistance.

CAUTION

To ensure safety and device longevity, please follow these guidelines:

1. Temperature: Operate and store at normal temperatures. Extreme hot or cold can damage the LCD.
2. Environment: Keep the product away from high heat and wet conditions to prevent internal circuit damage.
3. Low Battery: If the red light stays on, replace the dry cell battery by unscrewing the back bolts.
4. Internal Parts: Do not touch or replace internal parts. Unauthorized handling can compromise safety and cause accidents.
5. Cleaning: Clean the outer case only with a soft cloth; do not use chemicals.
6. Detonator Measurement: While safe, avoid single measurements of electric detonators. Always follow proper blasting procedures.
7. LCD Impact: The LCD screen can break if impacted. Handle with care.
